Version 3.0 Here are the major differences in the hose from version 3 to version 2.1:
1) No connectors needed. This tube fits over the 1/4 inch swivel as is, as well as the mouthpiece. It will fit over a 1/4" hose barb as well as the included mouthpiece. It will also fit over the 3/16" hose barb that was used with version 2.1 adapters.
2) 3 grams lighter than version 2.1.
3) Over 20% more Internal cross sectional surface area for greater airflow.
4) More consistently round cross section.
5) Color should remain (time will tell for sure, I have had a sample for two years. It was been in daily use for over half that time, and it is the same as when it was received.)

These are roughly 6 feet long (give or take a couple inches), lightweight, silicone blowhoses. Other lengths available upon request IN TRANSLUCENT ICE BLUE ONLY.
They are 7mm OD, 5mm ID hose, with a position retaining, bendable mouthpiece (you can specify blue or mint scented green in the note to seller).
Silicone does not break down like latex. Silicone does not get sticky when ran through a flame, or heated. Silicone can be boiled to clean it. Silicone is a bit more susceptible to being cut, and you can more easily melt a hole in silicone with hot glass than latex, and these are easier to kink.
These are lighter than the latex hoses most people use. This lightness feels great.. or .. the lack of feeling it because it IS so light is great... :)
The mouthpieces are a medical grade plastic, with a wire embedded into the tubing to allow it to be bent and its shape customized. Personally, I prefer the tip of these cut off.
