Katie Zeilman is a glass artist from Bakersville, NC — she has been working with soft glass since 2012 & borosilicate since 2020. Katie was recently a resident at several craft schools such as Arrowmont and StarWorks, & was a teaching assistant for Shane Fero at Penland School of Craft. In addition to gaffing fine barware, her sculptural work explores form and color to create her “critters” which are based in Appalachian folklore and storytelling.
