Max Trainque has been a glass artist since 1999, crafting objects that blend fire and imagination. His extensive teaching experience includes workshops at renowned institutions like the Worcester Center for Crafts and Kosta Boda. His work, ranging from jewelry to large-scale sculpture, has been exhibited internationally. A UNCA graduate with a B.A. in Sculpture and a K-12 art teaching license, Max's art balances beauty and tragedy, skill and creativity. He strives to create meaningful connections between raw materials and the viewer through his work. Based in Asheville, NC, Max is dedicated to educating and promoting appreciation for glass art.
